Scotto Partners advised Armacell’s management team during its fifth LBO
PAI Partners and KIRKBI have agreed to acquire Armacell from Blackstone, the majority shareholder of Armacell since 2016. KIRKBI has been an investor in Armacell since 2016 and will increase its stake to a significant minority position, while PAI Partner will be the new majority shareholder, following completion of the transaction. Management is also reinvesting in the transaction.
Completion of the transaction is subject to customary conditions.
Armacell is a global leader in flexible foam for the equipment insulation market and a leading provider of engineered foams, headquartered in Luxembourg.
Armacell’s management team was advised by Scotto Partners, lead by Isabelle Cheradame, partner, Adrien Badelon and Emil Björkhem on corporate aspects ; and Jérôme Commerçon, partner, on tax aspects.
