The management and the investment fund Exponent have finalised the acquisition of Loch Lomond assets by the holding company Loch Lomond Group.

Loch Lomond Group has purchased two distilleries, a bottling plant, and a range of brands including the legendary Loch Lomond brand, the High Commissioner brand, and the Glen’s vodka brands from the owning family.

The transaction took the form of an MBI with the arrival of a team of external managers.

Scotto & Associés assisted the team of managers, led by Colin Matthews (former senior executive at Imperial Tobacco) with Nick Rose (former CFO of the spirits group Diageo) as Chairman, Richard Miles as CFO and Bruce Davidson as Business Development Director.

The firm's team was formed of Isabelle Cheradame, partner, and Adrien Badelon, assisted by Emmie Jones from the Macfarlanes law firm.
